#184 - Feeling better

Last week was a really, really tough week for our family. Owen came down with a nasty virus that attacked his tonsils. He was just miserable and ran a fever between 102 and 105 degrees from Monday through Thursday. He went three days without eating and drinking much, and his tonsils were so swollen that his voice was soft and raspy. We were at the pediatrician's office three times during the week, and even flirted with a hospital admission to get some fluids in him. Thankfully, we avoided the hospital, and by Friday afternoon, Owen was feeling much better. It was a scary week - our little boy had never been that sick before and he had his Mommy and Daddy pretty darn worried!

At our last trip to the doctor, Lou entertained Owen with blow-up gloves.

This weekend, Owen was pretty much back to normal, and by back to normal, I mean he was running around, throwing toys (and getting put into time out for throwing toys), hugging and kissing on Benjamin, helping his Mommy bake cookies, and playing on his swingset. A typical weekend for the Saez family.

Now, a video to prove it.
