This weekend has been absolutely beautiful in Savannah. Highs in the upper 70s with not a cloud in the sky. These "Chamber of Commerce days" have enticed us to get out of the house and explore our great city. Yesterday, we decided to check out the local Train Museum, which has gotten wonderful recommendations from many of our friends.
The Round House Railroad Museum is the largest and most complete Antebellum railroad repair facility still in existence in the world. It offers an intriguing history lesson on the importance of the railroad to the South as well as to American commerce for previous generations. A few times a day, the musuem offers shorts train rides for visitors. To say that Owen loved it would be an understatement!
