After 12 days, 11 nights, Owen's two ear infections and two new teeth, Lou is home!!!! Lou got back from a fabulous trip to Spain with his mother and sister for Laura and Stephane's wedding on May 30th. It was a trip of a lifetime - visiting the hometowns of both his Mom's and Dad's with Susan and Isabel. He had a wonderful time! But, we sure did miss him! I was a little nervous doing it alone for so long, but it actually went pretty well. Owen got two separate ear infections, and the big news - cut not only his first tooth, but his second tooth three days later! This weekend, we spent a good deal of time babyproofing the house. We still have a ways to go, because let me tell you, this kiddo gets into everything!! We are definitely burning more calories chasing after him.Love,Katie, Lou and Owen
He still thinks he's Cocoa half the time. He crawls all over the house with toys hanging from his mouth. So cute!
We'll say, "Where's Cocoa?" and Owen crawls as fast as he can over to the door, pulls himself up, and then laughs at Cocoa on the other side.

He loves to give kisses now. They're open-mouth of course, and they absolutely melt your heart.

Wherever Cocoa is, Owen wants to be. They truly are best buds.
While exploring the house this weekend, he discovered the blinds. So now, we have to raise them by about 12 inches in all the windows in the house....
