#142 - Halloween and Florida/Georgia Game

The last weekend of October is always full of fun when you're in Jacksonville, Florida. It's Florida/Georgia weekend, and many times, Halloween falls on it too. Like we do every year, we headed back home for the festivities, and this year, it was well-worth the trip! The best part of the weekend was that the Gators won in overtime. Lou and I stayed for the entire game and it was an amazing victory. As usual, we partied at the best floating tailgate you'll ever see - the Worth boat, which they dock right there at the marina next to the stadium. On Friday afternoon, we took Owen down there, where he got to see his Grandmother, Grandfather, Aunt Kay and Uncle Joe.

He was so excited to see his Grandfather. When he woke up Friday morning, the first question he asked was, "Papa today?"

Aunt Kay had a cool horn that Owen just loved playing with on the boat, so Owen was attached to her the entire afternoon. Plus, Aunt Kay is pretty special!

Here's the little guy with his favorite Aunt Jen.

When Dad had to get something from the hatch, the kids insisted on getting in there with him. Ha!

This year's Halloween was a bit unusual. First, the city of Savannah changed the official night of trick-or-treating from Sunday to Saturday at the last minute. Since we were going to be in Jax for the game, we would be unable to take him here. In Jacksonville though, their trick-or-treating night wasn't until Sunday, and we'd be back home by then. So, Owen didn't officially get to trick-or-treat. He did, however, get to dress up in multiple costumes and get spoiled by friends and family who brought him lots of treats.
Here's costume #1 - Thomas the Train, which he talked about for months before Halloween.

A sweet little picture of Kaylin.
Here's Owen as a bumblebee. He doesn't look too happy here, but this is what he insisted on wearing on Halloween.

A family picture (Lou went as a surfer dude - nice hat)
And, finally, Owen as Super Mario Brother!
The real Super Mario

Sorry for all the weird formatting problems. After two days of trying to fix it, I'm giving up and posting as is.
